We believe that God made the world and everything in it and that he made human beings to know him, to love each other and to care for the world he had made. The Bible tells us the story of God and his world.
It tells us that people chose to live without God and how this led to a breakdown in our relationships with each other and creation.
The good news though is that it also tells us that God did not abandon us or his world. Instead he put in place a plan to reconcile us to himself, to each other and to liberate creation itself from decay and death.
That plan began with God’s call to Abraham and the Jewish people and reached its culmination with the coming of Jesus.
Jesus lived a perfect human life to show us what our lives should be like. He was crucified and died but death could not hold him and he was raised to new life.
We believe that through faith in Jesus we are reconciled to God, that our relationships with our fellow human beings in God’s people are transformed and that we will one day share in God’s eternal kingdom when heaven and earth will be renewed and restored.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
